We are aware that there are many school children not attending school for whatever reason and at present we are looking to reach out and work with schools and community groups who might be interested in trying something a little different with some of these individuals with regards to 3D Design, we currently run some online workshops and in-person sessions. We have run workshops at a few schools around Scotland, and you can find information and feedback on our social media. Budding Engineers CIC was founded to help to promote and deliver STEAM related education and inspire learning in the sciences, technology, engineering, art, and maths, with emphasis towards 3D design and digital technology. We believe every child, young person, and adult matters and deserve as much chance as anyone else. 

Our mission is to fully support and empower all people and their families especially those with additional learning needs. 

Our Aims
•    Importance of Digital and Technological Real Work Skills.
•    Addressing the Skills Gap in 3D Design and Digital Technology.
•    Repair, Reuse and Recycling of IT equipment.
•    Help to discover and encourage the strengths in Neurodiversity.

It is estimated that there are many young people, vulnerable adults, and carers all who are enthusiastic about STEAM subjects and they have never had this opportunity before, and we want to change that.
Budding Engineers CIC has been working with children and young people where the education system has not met their needs for various reasons e.g., many families on waiting lists for several years and not recognised as autistic etc. We know that there is a high demand for alternative help and support for Mental Health and wellbeing. 

Budding Engineers is also registered with the PDA society.
